چکیده
In this paper, we derive an analytical expression for the packet error probability in a telecommunication scheme with the three-copy majority combining. The derived expression has a closed form and it is applicable in the case of diversity packet transmission over three independent binary symmetric channels with various bit error probabilities. This expression is then used to analyze an example that illustrates a significant gain of the majority combining compared to the selection combining techniques.
